The Haymarket Restaurant & Bar is the premier Steak & Seafood restaurant in Liverpool. We pride ourselves on sourcing the very best Steaks from Hereford grass fed cattle and the freshest fish from local suppliers. We have our resident pianist on the Baby Grand most Wednesdays and Thursdays. We also have alternating live acts performing every Friday and Saturday in the main dining room.
The Haymarket Restaurant & Bar is situated at 89 Victoria Street. The brick vaulted ceilings, booths and subdued lighting combine to give an intimate dining experience in an inviting and relaxed basement setting.
Our Executive Chef, Gerard Hogan, comes to The Haymarket Restaurant & Bar after a successful stint as Head Chef at some of Liverpool’s more prestigious establishments including The Courtyard and Beechers Brook.. Gerard uses locally sourced produce and is passionate about the quality of his ingredients. Gerard is a classically trained chef who honed his skills while living and working in France. He has brought his experience to bear in producing a menu which elevates the traditional steak & seafood restaurant to new levels.
The concept behind The Haymarket is easy: Quality ingredients cooked simply and enjoyed in an intimate and entertaining environment.
The Haymarket Restaurant & Bar can seat approx 90 people to include three private dining rooms with the main room having live entertainment. There is a definite 50’s swing-style feel to the restaurant, where you can enjoy a drink at the bar and relax before going through to the restaurant for your meal and to enjoy the entertainment.
